LaRed respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the platform to do the same.
If you believe that content posted on LaRed infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Reporting Copyright Infringement
To submit a copyright complaint, provide the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is allegedly infringing.
- The URL or location of the infringing content on LaRed.
- Your contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Removal of Infringing Content
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, LaRed may:
- remove or disable access to the infringing material
- notify the user who posted the content
- terminate repeat infringers
Counter-Notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including:
- identification of the removed content
- a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was mistaken
- consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court
Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright may be permanently terminated.
